COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION
SunStrand's Communication Division is responsible for the design and installation of Infrastructure Solutions, which include Entrance Facilities, Backbone Cabling, Horizontal Cabling, and Telecommunications Closets. SunStrand provides comprehensive Communications Infrastructure Design and Installation services to major Health Care Organizations, Educational Institutions, and Corporate Customers. SunStrand assists customers in implementing cable infrastructure for technology solutions for 100Base-T, Gigabit Ethernet, Token Ring, ATM, and Optical Fiber. SunStrand's technical team ensures both design and installation of cable infrastructure systems are in compliance with IEEE, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-A, 569-A, 570, 606 and 607, the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) as well as Local Electrical Codes.
